Castle Crashers is a great game to play with friends. It doesn't do a whole lot that's new to gaming, but what it does, it does really well. It's requires fairly low specs I have similar specs to you and it runs really well on my PC. You can play it singleplayer, too, but that fucking volleyball stage is impossible without a friend.

Well sure, if you are looking for something with the simple task of increasing your critical thinking and problem solving skills. Hard to beat the price, too.

I just prefer Factorio because it feels more like a "game" and not just a puzzle.
