Back then moot and mods would routinely implement board features like fortunes, seizure inducing backgrounds, music and funny word filters. For a long time “nigger” filtered to “roodypoo” and typing “penis” or “vagina” would cause the word to be posted in all caps with a colored font and highlight. gookmoot is lazy though and just wants ad and 4chan passu money but other than that he lets this site die and slowly just turn into an autistic version of stormfront. /s4s/ and in some essence /bant/ are pretty much the only two remaining bastions of original 4chan culture.
