Have you tried buying anything? Like let's say you want to build a Voron 3D printer. Certainly a middle class activity. So many out of stock items. That's one example and there are lots. think hospital birth is a bad idea anyhow. my dad says that the doctors forgot to wrap up my brother for hours after he was born and he was just sitting cold and naked until he insisted. i think they were trying to be cruel because my parents refused circumcision even though the doctors tried hard to sell it. they also stole my tonsils and adenoids from me before i was old enough to negotiate. i also had to have an ugly old dude grab my nuts every single year just to play sports. whole thing is some strange scam to harvest organs for rich people and sell drugs to the ignorant. worse things have happened to other people in my family too. zero trust for doctors, think most are better off avoiding them and going to the gym. but if i had a pregnant wife that wanted a hospital birth i suppose i would compromise, there's things more important than grudges.

dreamed i was in some legal trouble as well as romantic woes. at the last minute before i faced consequences though, a call came through from the persian gulf and provided me with an alibi. think they were the guys that stole my girl though. woke up sweaty. felt like an o henry story.

if the bull market is still on, you want speculative growth. in a bear market you want a defensive sector, usually the one that looks most run over. you've already noticed ag for 2022, they did oil there too. healthcare, consumer staples, reits, 3 other defensive pockets. they're unlikely to run the same playbook again if we're in bear market though, and it looks like for this selloff they went with international stocks, and if it goes on longer they're unlikely to switch vehicles. it has to do with index hedging and other voodoo. i don't know the full story but i see the results. check out south korea or china etf's if you're feeling bearish usa. buy arkk if you think the bull market rides on. who really knows though, if it were easy then getting rich would be trivial, and it's not.

Then it turned out the weather sucked so no one planted and there weren't any shortages, leading to the massive fall from the top. ostensibly in a market order a market-maker fills you on the nasdaq or you take the best offer on the nyse. with limit orders ostensibly you take a spot in the order book and get filled by a buyer or seller, sometimes only partially. seen that actually happen with my own eyes, which is relevant to what i'm about to say, contradictory actually but this is what i believe: your order is just a ledger entry in your broker's book, they adjust their holdings based on their liabilities to their customers if they own any stock at all, more likely they buy options. they take your money away when you press buy and give you what they contractually owe you when you press sell, but no real shares change hands, that's for institutions only.
who really knows though.

You will get filled faster, virtually immediately but possibly at a worse price, occasionally at a slightly better price (I think they call that price improvement). But mostly it's at a worse price. With limit orders you pick the price and if it trades through that price you will get filled. Like the other anon said you might only get a partial fill of trading large lot sizes but for the average retail goy you will get filled in full at your limit price if you are trading a liquid ticker

Could happen with a limit order if there isn't sufficient liquidity and you don't get filled, but with a market order the mid price could be $200 and you get filled at $190 anyways just because that's the best the nanny could get for you immediately

IIRC the market ripped to like $520 quickly with like a month left till expiry and suddenly my 20 delta $488 sale didn't seem so great. I would have allowed it to get assigned if it was closer to my strike. But the golden bull run began with me taking a $10k loss on covered calls, which the appreciation on my long shares has since more than made up for. I think selling covered calls on individual stocks makes more sense as they don't necessarily have a "must go up" psychology to them

Well when I wrote them in January 24, we were back at ATHs of $475 or so and with the Santa rally behind us I thought it wouldn't go up that much in 45 days. But I got my face ripped off and instead of trying to play the rollout game, I just took my L and kept the shares and decided not to sell CCs on my stack. Which is the case today. Historically, the gold standard prevented this because they couldn't just print unlimited gold, so trade was forced to balance out.

Along with disagreeing with some of what he said about tariffs, I'd add that a big thing he neglected is historical societies were full of self-sufficient farmers who could easily survive a depression. In modern economies, most people have zero self-sufficiency, so they can't get necessities like food and shelter in a depression. Therefore modern governments are forced to print money, or else get wars.

In the video, he suggests limiting debt levels and reducing the cost of doing business domestically. I'd agree with those but add that to be able to settle accounts, we also need to improve self-sufficiency and raise standards of living in poorfag countries so they can buy our stuff. As expected, all of these ideas require opposing zionist globalism.
