Dice them all up into small cube about a quarter inch on each side.
Put them in a baking pan, give them a healthy dusting with some cinnamon, a little bit of allspice and nutmeg. Personally I put some brown sugar or honey on the top, but if you want to cut out the sugar then you can skip it. Put just a splash of apple juice in.
Then put it in a little ceramic ramekin or pyrex dish, preheat your oven to like 350-400 and then put it in the oven. 20-30 minutes should be fine, keep an eye on it. You want all the juice at the bottom to cook off and the sugars to caramelize a bit.
Personally I like to take a pork loin, crush it in salt, and place that on top of the dish to cook it all together. It just all werks together. The hash gets nice and savory, and it brings out the natural sweetness of the pork.
You could also just grab some Pillsbury puff pastry, make little squares, stuff a spoonfull or two of hash inside, then fold over the pastry and bake in the oven till its golden brown. A lovely little turnover.
