I remember using the internet back in the early 2010s, yearning for a mention of India or Indians, we used to be so irrelevant in the international sphere just a decade ago that we would rarely ever get mentioned. But around a year or two, things completely changed, now, we basically live rent free in the mind of anyone who’s chronically online.

Most of the posts, comments and replies are negative, a lot of it, is deserved, but a lot goes overboard. It’s quite hilarious that so many people store photos and videos of Indians taking a shit, even going as far as generating the same with AI. It’s all quite funny to me but that’s maybe cause I live in India and have no chance of facing racism myself.

Since most of the insults, slurs and talking points originate from here, I ask, why are you guys constantly thinking about us and inserting us into everything you can think of? From your job, your women and the list goes on.
