I have conversed with many troons about this concept before and 99% of the time they get defensive and reject the whole notion. You can find many reddit threads of them anxiously shooting down the idea in fear that it makes them look crazy in comparison, going nuh uh it's not the same, which I find surprising. They genuinely want to have their cake and eat it too, it must sting to have that sort of mirror held up. But that's anecdotal anyway
