It’s basically where British anons congregate to talk about everything from daily life and the news to the Premier League and obscure historical trivia, usually with a heavy dose of irony and cynicism.
Tone-wise, it can swing from hilariously self-deprecating to really bleak or absurd — think British humour but turned up to 11 and left to fester online. Not exactly PG, obviously. You’ll see a lot of recurring posters and in-jokes, and sometimes they'll post webms of trains, British towns, or random telly from the '90s.
