I used to believe that segregation was stupid. That it never really solved anything. But then my family was dragged down south about eighteen years ago. Virtually every fight back in school, every robbery, every break in, every violent crime came at the hands of one race. I still don't believe that one race is superior to another, though I will say that we all have our differences. And that's a good thing! We don't all have to be the same. That would lead to an incredibly shitty, boring world.
However... It would be nice to drive by the nearby gas station and not see it barred up with the owner having more guns than necessary. It'd be nice to decide to head out for a late night drink without the risk of being mugged or shot. It would be nice to not have me, or my neighbor's, home get broken into. I miss the old, pretty church that was burnt down because the pastor's son happened to be a white officer.
I would never say that being black is bad, but niggers are a plague.
