It's a waste of resources because they don't really plan to make use of their degrees.
Half of them just attend university to try and snatch some guy wo looks like he'll make a lot of money later on.
The other half studies some shit they have no plans to ever make use of and are just studying to put of getting a job a bit more.
The ones that actually do end up working in their field somehow just get a child eventually to have an easy way out.

yes and they shouldn't be discouraged or barred based on their sex but the general social and economic policy of a nation should be geared towards 90%+ of women getting married and having children in their early-to-mid 20s after a basic high school or 2/4 year college degree for nursing or dental hygienist, or elementary teacher, etc. Women should not be generally encouraged to exert major focus, time, and money towards advanced post-secondary education intended to develop into a long-term professional career nor be impressed upon that such a pedigree is a social requisite. That said if a woman does decide she wants to be an astrophysicist or whatever the system should be entirely ready to accommodate her. Look at Marie Curie, there are women that have great things to the world through education.

There is more value in soft skills. You men never ask yourself important questions like "How does this program make me feel?" or "Does the UI align with my menstrual cycle?".
