i have an ajuj mg279q, an old high refresh rate (144 hz) ips monitor which has a vrr range of 35-90 via freesync out of the factory
it can be manually configured to have a range of 56-144 and works fine doing that, using lfc for refresh rates below 56
gayland being as it is, setting the monitor to behave this way under linux with wayland is annoying and port-specific, via a custom edid:
