everyone keeps telling you to "shut the AV off and run the program". they would say that if they wanted to infect your computer.
you can be somewhat confident that everything is fine if the AV says it's fine. it might be clean. or it might contain malware, crafted to avoid AV detection.
you might wanna learn how to run stuff in a "sandbox", how to do behavioral analysis.
there's a site called "app.any.run". check it out. it's not user-friendly in what it throws at you. lots of false positives, alarms, that you have to learn how to interpret (inspect deeper, dismiss).
