i understand it can be rewarding but it's not what i want, the same way i don't feel capable of raising children right now
i met several people who made me feel safe but i fucked up each opportunity
most people i meet now can't offer that for me, and i don't want to engineer other people into that, it's not worth the time/energy
i prefer being on equal terms and having organic relationships
at this point, i think i'm jhust gonna study math and have fun pretending the world is garry's mod
