Anyway, I was trying to establish our present age, but I think it would take too long.
Basically, I was a liberal for a long time, I was aware of all the talking points by the liberals against demagogues like Trump. I guess around the time he was being elected after he won I started to question things, I started to go off the beaten path and into my own political theories and otherwise non withstanding. Most of what I had witnessed and experienced from the liberals seemed pretty atrocious, and how I got into more conservative belief systems was through Christianity mostly. But I remained skeptical the whole time, like I never put excruciating research into the reason why I became a leftist, but I felt like I had learned enough that it was obvious and enough for me to deem the conservatives as not being that good. Mostly I just fucking hated my experiences with conservatism like it was horrible. And also, some background info on myself: I have sort of complicated ethnicity, I thought for a long time that I mostly looked white but I was sorely mistaken apparently I don’t look white for sure. Thus, I am not like “us whites” “YEA IMM WYTe” “us Wyte pepo” and all that nonsense. So it immediately makes me turned off to conservatism, why wouldn’t it? Anyway, I guess that fails to explain the present. My experience with the conservatives, I had to move back to live with family because it was so unaffordable everywhere, and they live in conservative areas of course and my experience was homophobia and narrow minded ness again, just generally I guess the feeling or fact that I don’t really feel another comfortable defining myself as simply “white” kind of complicates matters. It’s really boring living in a
conservative area that doesn’t really have punks or an interesting music scene I just feel more comfortable in areas that are liberal. My experiences with Canada since Trump was first elected have been pretty atrocious though
