any religion praising the superhuman spiritual entity is essentially degrading humanity in favor of the deity. no. humans are the gods, and every other such entity is nothing but a subjugator. God thwarted our efforts to reach the heavens through our own will and strength, and for what? for a narcissistic whim. Someone who'd rather cripple his own sons than see them run faster than himself.
