A more likely scenario is that blonde hair and blue eyes are variants of red hair and green eyes respectively. Some early human population with low rates of red hair and green eyes migrated from the middle east to Europe and deep into Asia, in Europeans those traits became more common via sexual selection and through random mutation blonde hair and blue eyes developed.
