idk about you but here you can call your local wildlife management department and request a deer and they will just drop an entire carcass off at your doorstep
its literally impossible to starve unless you are a bumbling idiot since meat is free in this manner. Also i picked up 2 plats of plants for a total of 72 starter vegetable plants for $25 and i had zero care in the world when i put them in the ground and i know they are going to grow anyway and give me food.
My diet consists of meat, onions, tomatos and peppers and the only thing i didnt plant was onions, they actually do poorly in my soil but i have a near infinite supply of garlic. I also transplanted some grapevines, which were weeds growing up my house to my fence and i go outside and i guide the direction of the vines so they spread out.
