Imagine it like this: You're in some random thread, and suddenly "the" Reiposter appears. Suddenly the whole thread is about Reiposter!! The mods decided that was a bad habit and decided to introduce rule 13. This would stop threads from being derailed by people's identities.
If I were to go in every thread and reply with Kagari pictures, I'd be derailing threads (imagine all the "fuck off kagarifag" replies), thus breaking 13. But I'm not.
On the other hand, as soon as you showed up, the thread is about you.
Really makes one think...
