the bible is racial, Deuteronomy forbids the isreaelites race mixing twice and when the prophet nehemia found the books of moses again after they were long left abandoned in the temple and read it before the congregation it caused them to do this (showing my interpretation is at least the one shared by the prophet nehemia)
13 On that day they read in the book of Moses in the audience of the people; and therein was found written, that the Ammonite and the Moabite should not come into the congregation of God for ever;
