Summer is an uppity bitch 24/7.
Rick is more reliant on his family members for his shit than he would normally allow simply because he literally calls them both equally unimportant and essentially retarded.
Morty is doing good as a character imo because simply being rick's punching bag 24/7 would lead him to hate rick, which will eventually become a big plot point imo.
Beth's character i think is coming full circle to fit back into her normal way of doing shit.
Jerry is alright, but I think they're warping him from his original concept of being anxious in regards to his decisions but leader-like in the sense of if given proper praise, could eventually make decent decisions, which I think the show May go back to depending on the new episode.
However my main concern with the show as of now is that I think the writers are talking through summer and at jerry as a way to make a statement againt something that they deem represented in the real world. That is what is bugging the ever fuck about me. Ever since the mad max episode and summer being a bitch constantly and incessantly and actually not even progressing from that episode and into a more mature character, thus showing that plot of the mad max episode to be completely irrelevant since the character refuses to empathize with her father and mother for their decisions, and the refusal to mature in the way to grow and become more rational.
But none of this occurs, she's still the shitty, bitchy teenager. Zero growth has occured in her character in this season. Morty has seen subtle but inevitably noticeable growth over the three seasons.
With rick, you do see growth and deeper into his personality.
Same with beth and jerry, you see what's their core problem, how and why they got married, them caring about each other, and how their divorce is going for each of them.
