You can buy one of these for $800 on Amazon and see low orbit satellites. They do not have balloons tied to them. You can literally look at them. How are they staying up there? For a lot more you can see geosynchronous satellites. Did you parents never take you to a star gazing event? Church group? School function? Boy Scouts?

It's used in welding, for keeping liquid oxygen chilled, and is often used to maintain tank pressure as the oxygen or fuel are depleted.

by the very definition of 'satellite', this is impossible. What you are referring to is weather instruments or some other balloon carried instrument that is NOT a satellite. A satelite is something ORBITING. If it requires a balloon then it is not orbiting and therefore not a satellite

They're not and they didn't. See the problem with flat earth and space being fake is you have to propose alternate math that can be replicated every time and work every time. That's how we know space is real, earth is a spherical object and gravity is the "container" for our atmosphere.
I'd really love some alternate math to support flat earth or discredit space but it's just not gonna happen.
