Tor, Librewolf and Mullvad are the most secure and private browsers, but... And the search engines? Some people say Swisscows, Qwant and SearX, but I don't know.

i've been using 4get instances
searx kinda went to shit, but 4get is decent, the way searx was a couple years ago

it's hard to know
you have to have a good intuition for computers and networking principles, sadly
everything is a clusterfuck these days
you could check out the youtube channel "mental outlaw" if you want to understand more, that might be a good starting point
