In an effort to raise the quality of discussion on this site, I ask users to not respond to rage bait and keep an environment of good faith and decorum so we can more accurately criticize the issues the establishment wants us to ignore. The reason why you see so much flame wars, blatant racism, and low quality posts is because /pol/ is an accessible place to give an anti establishment view of the American government. Some discussions that take place on /pol/ can be a springboard into real life action and engagement. It can change how people think about America and its relation to Israel. /pol/ is a place where people can question the holocaust and not be called a bigot or a conspiracy theorist. Unsurprisingly, I rarely see the holocaust even being discussed on /pol/ these days. They want to organize and flood this board with low effort posts. Also, view everything you post here as semi public. The FBI watches this place closely. Raising the quality of our conversations will bring the substance of what we have to say to light. It will make everything we say more impactful. And will make the mainstream media propaganda that /pol/ is an unhinged cesspit of hate look even more laughable than it already is. So lets all dust off our copy of "How to win friends and influence people" and take the cliche advice in that book seriously, because it is true despite how people may scoff at self help books. Repost this message anytime you see a thread get off track, whenever you see a zio-poster derail a thread, whenever you see a fed prod users into violence or making illegal threats. Most importantly, whenever you post, be polite, be firm in your beliefs, and give evidence for your claim. Be the example for others to follow and see /pol/ become a bastion of political thought
