i know someone with a Boys anti-tank rifle, the thing is so heavy there is a 'bipod' attachment that has a second utilitarian use as skids and you grab the gun by the barrel and just drag it around to move it

the skids/bipod are placed much closer to the receiver, not at the end of the barrel like most bipod placements because the barrel is so beefy you need the help of balance to aim the thing. So when you are dragging it by the barrel the skids also keep the receiver and stock from digging into the dirt
