Personally, it's gotta be Dad's Dungeon and Breezy for best and worse respectively.

Sad to see it go, sure, but it got bogged down in bullshit that no kid cares about.

Should have stuck to the original scheme of just "Today's Adventure is...." the over arcing subplots between the various princesses and Finn's relationship with them was stupid. And the entire plot behind Jake being in another dimension was basically dropped and ignored later in the series.

Best character and episodes all involved The Lich.

I really liked it, I thought it was a very creative show. Also some nice dramatic/comedic undertones for an older audience without getting too needlessly full of itself. Some episodes or arcs I liked a little less but every show has its downtime

I liked some of the feels, not all of it. I like the melodramatic shitstorm that was the ice king. I also really enjoyed PB and Marceline most of the time, but not necessarily for the silly little romance bits. But I just figured that was some cheap feels for a younger audience, I can see how it fits in. It's basically some fantasy coming of age type shit

Flame Princess arc was a good example of a romance subplot as written by people who have no idea how to handle romance subplots for a director who didn't want a romance subplot but was too bus focusing on his own other thing to veto. The less said about it and the way it ended, the better.

Having said that, I think Puhoy is probably one of my favorite episodes since its a better example of how Finn's later life should have gone. But picking an actual favorite episode is hard when you have things like The Limit and Dad's Dungeon and Dungeon Train. On the other hand, stuff that references AT's post-apocalyptic nature like Islands and Be More also appeal to me, as I just find the idea of modern and near-future weapons and vehicles existing alongside fantasy a-la Wizards captivating.

Funny you mention Breezy, since that was about the point I stopped watching other than taking a look at Steaks and a few later episodes without context. I heard that Finn really did get a mechanical arm in the end, but what was the last season focused on?

It should have been better structured to have less dangling subplots and less of a need to recall things and tie everything together. Even with a full season remaining I doubt they're going to be able to give closure to everything. I'd just be happy if they tell us what happens to Finn and Jake, and Ice King too.

Everything I've seen after season 4 is just bad. The show should focus on Fin and Jake with some of the important side characters like Ice king, Beemo, Marceline, etc. getting their own episodes. Did we really need an episode for the human tribe of woman vs the soda factory? (I stopped caring about it a while ago and its the only one that I recall)

For a show whose title is "Adventure Time with Finn and Jake", there is a whole lot less Finn and Jake in the later seasons. I think they'll probably have to focus on Finn in the final season though, if only because it has no room for any filler.
