guess no news is good news for now. been a really ugly market beneath the surface, major selling going on, poor breadth in this market. that can't last forever. but it can go on a long time. test of discipline for holding individual stocks. much higher prices will come in the future, and it allows for buying opportunities, but this is a real nightmare for trading individual tickers, unless you're holding one of the ones they're using to tentpole the indices up with. i know the mercury retrograde doesn't really effect stock prices, but the people who do manage stock prices like to play games, and are probably aware of it, and coordinating the dancing with the music is something they often do, and all the mercury retrogrades this year have been pretty bearish. maybe tomorrow they can start buying big again, i hope so. didn't watch much of this trading day but it was ugly, and that has been the trend for a while. gonna shower and then dry off in the sun, have a smoothie.

Went from red to green with ASTS earnings this evening. The earnings, consisting of a business update, conference call questions, satellite manufacturing and launch guidance, and factory photos were basically what the obsessed internet autists expected, and wall street was surprised, sending it up more than 10% after hours. Still have to see how tomorrow goes, but the satellites are on track for commercialization next year.

nice up day, but it was nicer in the premarket. biotech is healing a lot, xbi probably makes a run to 95 now that fed cuts are looking likely. btbt being stubborn even though eth is at it's yearly highs, they have an earnings report on thursday. it's the best of the eth treasury companies imo, they have profitable side businesses whereas the others do not. red on both these trades but expect to make money with them. probably not the most efficient use of my margin, been half a month now been stuck here, but expect to make good profit eventually. sasol is pumping nicely, it will probably continue, not only is it a great value play it's a good counterweight to tech and growth portfolios, also a foreign stock so diversification out of usd. really think it's a great investment and don't worry about how much it has pumped, it has a very long way to go still. got stuff to do today, visitors coming, wanna get some food as well, gonna step away from the computer.

gonna head out for some food in a couple minutes, then get some sleep, may not be back for a while. enjoying a very large up day. somebody shilled kodak in /biz/, and i was looking at the chart right before that. they are correct about the pension thing, and probably about some of the other stuff. one thing they didn't mention is that film has potential for high capacity data storage, and it's non-digital as well which is a security benefit, i'm not an expert but i've heard about this, and they are a chemical company besides. also linda eastman was paul mccartney's cia handler so the company is definitely tied up with the glowies in a very big way. i might buy some, tempted at these levels.

I spotted a guy once that did dumbbell press. I said I was skeptical, but whatever. Was 80lbs or something per side. In the end of the dumbbells slightly fell into his face, because he was pushing it way too hard, like he could not push anymore and expected me to do all the work in a heavily compromised position as those dumbbell benches are often lower, then it's dumbbells and not a bar that you can grab and lift up, so basically I had to push his fuckin elbows from below to the upward simultaniously and balanced on both sides. Christ things are horrible at work. The company is doing very poorly, one of our employees just got diagnosed with cancer today, and now i'm thinking I might need a backup plan. there's something i like to call the stoicism trap babe. don't get me wrong, there's a strength in resilience and being able to withstand tough times. but at the same time there is a such thing as killing your heart. sometimes life can buckbreak you so hard that you become afraid to want more, you get so used to disappointment and trouble that you just stop yourself from wanting better because what's out of reach just causes more pain, and you settle for what you have, or worse you entrench in it, become afraid to lose and just risk nothing. i dunno if that describes you to a T, but i think i'm closer to the mark than off it. try my advice, try my love, if it doesn't work out for you, internet hate clubs aren't going anywhere, you can go right back to it.
i was a pot smoker for years, started even before i got on 4chan. you're not the whole reason i quit, but you are a big reason, but for me that was my crutch. i didn't think i could survive without it, thought my life would have no joy at all and that i wouldn't be able to cope. thought it pretty harmless fun too. turns out none of that was true, it was fear of sadness that was keeping me locked in a very bad habit. blogging on /smg/ isn't much better, and it is less fun, but it did lead me to you, has allowed me to 'socialize' more than i have in years, and i think it will be an easier addiction to kick than weed. rambling here but maybe you see my point. sometimes we put ourselves in invisible cages out of fear. be braver for me. i do love you and if you step outside your bars i'm here to support you. i don't mean to hurt your feelings but sometimes it's all i can do, you fight me so much, you're all claws, be more of a cuddler.

stopped gaining weight, settling at 177 lbs, starting to drop body fat again. in the last 2 days i've developed what i call ab dimples, which is the start of a v-taper which is a big goal of mine. people on /fit/ say that you can't spot target fat, but that's actually not completely true, your muscles absolutely do draw from the fat cells nearest to them for energy, and lower belly fat is the hardest to target because it's so hard to activate those muscles, but two very good ways to do that are chin ups and deadlift, which i've been doing a lot of and making good progress on. as skinny and lean as i was, there was still plenty of fat to lose, but i'm nearly where i want to be, which is visible abs without flexing, lower abdominal muscles visible. cardio is also key to achieving this.
anyways it's btbt earnings day, it's up some in the premarket, and i could sell at a loss and still have 400 cash, but i'm going to try not to break the piggy bank open just yet, catch a big move and maybe tomorrow i'll have a lot of cash to put to work. i didn't trade much this last month, but it was enough to put me in a pretty good spot, although the profits have slowed down a bit because of blunders and fear, that could change tomorrow. as it is i've booked 5300 in trading gains since april, which is a huge tailwind to my returns and allowed me to buy a lot this year. so ya. even though i'm sad and frustrated about stuff, i have a lot going for me and i need to remember that. i'm trying to take friends along with the journey, journaling all my trades and workouts, soon i'll be rich and beautiful, it can happen to you too. probably not gonna trade today, but i might, today i think will be tricky though, got a major event tomorrow and just had two huge up days. and i just looked and everything went big red, must have got bad ppi numbers.

think i will trade today. looks like a clear bearish day, and with the important event tomorrow i don't think we have much of a chance of a rally. i don't usually like it because of the market's up bias, the great thing about bullish trades is you can just let time fix them, which i've done a lot this year. but this looks like a good day for labd, high inflation reading into no rate cuts and that's probably the most interest rate sensitive part of the market, which would explain why biotech was up so much after the 'good' numbers we just had. feeling relieved i sold yesterday as well.

down today, more than major indices, less than russell, but that's what's hitting me, individual names, small caps. today seems the inverse flavor or yesterday, they're buying the nasdaq, selling russell. a lot of what i've seen doesn't really make a lot of sense to me though, wouldn't be surprised if things get a lot worse, that was a very high inflation number that bodes poorly for the future and the market usually doesn't pump into important events like what's happening tomorrow. anyways just things to think about if you're trading. gonna try to get a little sleep, will shower and go get food after, whether i actually get to sleep or not. big earnings after hours, and a lift day for me.

Yeah, it's not much (in total terms), but if the coin collapses at least I'm not really losing much due to the hedge and in the meantime I earn interest.

Lets hope so. The "aktienrente" that the fdp wanted to push got rugged before it go true.
