>>23113960To put it in better terms:
"You justify cannibalism due to the eroticism of the taboo; I justify cannibalism because I do not register it as taboo but rather an inevitability that exists beneath the veneer of Humanity, of the Inner Beast that we are. We are not the same."
The funniest part about this? If you agree with me, then you're the first person that if said environmental pressures existed to exercise this natural programming, that I would exercise them upon, for you agree with me. I'd have to do nothing, and you'd simply walk into my maw because you know this to be truth. Perhaps I would have to season you, but in that situation, we wouldn't really have that luxury now would we?
If you do not agree with me, then, like all things in Nature, it would come down to who wishes to live more. I really don't feel like being killed and eaten by you, so you'd best do your best to try and survive, because in that situation, I am going to kill you and eat you because I do not wish to die.
Now, that being said; that's a cruel mindset isn't it? Which is why we have a system around it, why do we both need to fight and kill one another? Why can't either of us figure out how to prevent that from happening? After all, two hungry brains are more powerful than one hungry brain wracked with guilt.
rest assured however, if we could not come to an agreement of sorts, or if you perish before I do, whether my own hand, or the cruel forces of Nature, you will not go to waste, especially if my own Survival is at stake.
And that is the Beast that exists within us all; if you call me a Monster in that, then J'accuse in return, for how can you call me a monster while holding that same monster within yourself?
Do you deny your own survival instincts? If so, then enter my maw so that I may live. If you do not deny your own survival instinct, then how can you call me a monster in that when you do likewise?
Assuming, environmental pressures permitting of course.
