never understood the appeal of going to a gym to work out. i like trail blazing and doing yard work for exercise. i guess if you don't have your own land you may be stuck with it. it's rewarding to enjoy the tangible outcomes of my labor beyond looking at a mirror or a scale. ymmv so try it out at a local nature preserve before buying your own acreage. the deer and coyotes and bears started using the newest trail. no moose signs yet. leaves are just starting to turn. this weekend is probably the last hot one for the season.

feeling happy that india banned online gambling. so many poor people were losing their shirts. on monday the GAMBlers are going to get heemed. reveling in schadenfreude is not a good headspace but it seems like karmic deserts. the graphene stock is going to have an interesting week as well, but those guys are just new and looking for hope in tickers, not betting on vice.

might buy a bag of intc next month. debating if i should open a position on intw instead, a 2x long intc fund. all the news seems bullish recently. dividends don't hit until the 8th or 9th so there is some time to wait and see.

gonna grab a snack now, babe. been thinking of you all day. remember the walks we used to take and the dreams we used to share. i hope we can do that again soon.

175.6 lbs this morning... and today will be another cardio day. losing fat that's for sure, but want to get back to gaining weight. found a cool youtube channel, school of war podcast, been watching some of of those videos this weekend. just trying to sleep and relax, mom gets home in a little less than a week, gotta mop and vacuum before she gets here, not looking forward to that, but when she gets home i'll have a lot less work to do, she does a lot of the shopping and cleaning, and she'll be in a really good mood because the market is up, she made a ton of money on friday. miss my dog a lot too and it will be nice to snuggle with him again. hope everyone has a nice sunday.

eth 5k rejected and the cme boys are doing their evil, so maybe scratch buying more btbt at open. the homebuilder etf though did break out on friday, and you can get 3x leverage on that with NAIL, that might be the play for tomorrow. also thinking about biotech. maybe best to be cautious though after such a huge move, but that's what i'm thinking about trading now, and maybe gold miners, friday might have been the low interest rate move, monday might be the higher inflation expectations move. and also with the komp etf in mind, that's pretty geared to defense stocks, and if komp is gonna rise and arkk sell off, that's the lever they'd have to pull to make that happen, and there has been weakness there lately. so anyways there's a few trade ideas for the coming week. just ate a big lunch, gonna work on a new magic deck, got an idea, pioneer format which i've never played but i'm gonna give it a shot. can't wait for market open. had a long nap already and feeling a lot better, but still gonna make it a cardio day.

big eod candle brought my account to green. very nice, and a good sign considering what's going on in the news. traded well today all things considered, didn't buy any bottoms or sell any tops and spent more time than i wanted doing it, but $112 for a few hours 'work' is pretty good.
wanna see some of my lagging names pick up though, stuff like snap and wkey. not just for me to make money, but when stuff like that struggles, it's usually a sign that there's more speed bumps coming for the entire market, and there's a lot of stuff like that going on. much of the small-mid cap space remains very undervalued and a broadening market would be a good sign. bears simply have no idea how good things can really get, we aren't even close to full prosperity yet.

hope you still read here babe. think you should get a workout regimen yourself. it's good for you in so many ways but i'm thinking about your mental health. for me, leaving politics behind coincided with starting my health journey about 10 years ago, it helps you realize that it's you that are in control of your life, that what you do effects you far more than what anyone outside of it does. i know that seems obvious but you need to focus more on yourself, less on others. that can be hard sometimes, but getting into great shape makes it a lot easier, you gain self-respect, self-love, which you need more of. those things are different from pride, which you have plenty of. want you to admire yourself the same way i do, i think it would change you.

well this was the wrong move. up $5 at the moment but the problem is there is super low liquidity and volume here, can't even watch the price change on tradingview, have to refresh my brokerage to get quotes, unlikely to do dfen again unless it's a multi-day thing, buy a trough then sell a peak kinda deal. and biotech moved a lot already. gonna sit and hope for a higher price to get out with a decent profit.

this week the earnings drama was overblown as usual and the bulls are zealous. when everyone is having a green week, is it really green? the tide is rising all ships, but that only matters if you have a ship. celebrating the widening of the wealth gap seems cruel when you consider the plight of the less fortunate. that's life. we put on blinders to suffering into order to revel in our spoils. we don't think about the soulful eyes of the cow as we dine on steak. so too we turn a blind eye to the poor as we watch our numbers go up. it's always been this way. but i think it's important to recall and be grateful for our position.

next week is shaping up to be promising. after the peace-talk theatre in alaska the war in ukraine is likely entering its final crescendo and will end with a bang. hopefully not nagasaki-levels. the attack russia dealt to kyiv yesterday indicates the end is very close now. i hope so. nato cannot be allowed to exist on russia's doorstep if any lasting peace can be hoped for. not to mention the clear skies for the markets.

tomorrow is ex-date for my biggest holding. the option premiums suggest that the market is mispricing the anticipated distribution so i sold calls against half of my position which expire next friday. the math i use to estimate has been within 10% all year so far which makes me confident i'll come out ahead. i try to collect enough premium to offset the taxes since the dividends are unqualified.

we are pair bonded. if something ever happened to her i would not jump into dating. especially not online. from what ive gathered it is the fastest way to destroy your sense of worth. id sooner join a monestary and forget women entirely. adults have a very different calculus and it muddies the waters when dating. life isn't simple anymore. their are practical concerns that can't be avoided.

if i had to start over i would hold my cards close. using and displaying wealth to attract women is a delicate balance i am grateful i will never have to navigate. i would probably mask my status and imply that i'm squarely middle class. else id struggle to trust loves me and not the material comfort or security i can offer.

earlier you had implied a disagreement about shifting demographics. i won't look for the exact quote but you had said something to her along the lines of "white genocide isn't real" which paints both of your beliefs on this hot button issue.

we could (but we shouldn't here) debate the merits of that perspective. i think it is uncontroversial to state that the white population is shrinking in the western world. why and how this is happening, and whether it is good, bad, or neither, is the crux of the conversation. in any case by denying the premise of the concern you risk alienating her and dismissing her concerns outright. this is both patronizing and a huge turn off, regardless of the topic.

you rightfully called out my first post as an insincere jab. it was. i should've lurked more. this /smg/ has a unique character that caught me off guard, so your posts seemed out of place at first. clearly there is more going on here than i initially realized. this post however is wholly genuine.

looking like we'll get a labor day sale on the market. having my smoothie right now, gonna get to the gym in a bit. sleep is all kinds of messed up but at least i'm getting a lot of it and awake enough to trade. probably get a short-cover rally 2-2.5 hours into the trading today, probably won't make the market green but something to watch for today.

i wanted to just take an evening nap, but i couldn't sleep, then finally got to sleep at 7:30 and slept for like 5 hours, i'll probably be up until market close. i just sleep whenever i'm tired, try to be awake during market hours as much as i can. ever since i quit weed i've been all over the map with sleep, i cannot sleep a regular 8 hours at the moment.
