I was thinking basically they’re really tying to make baggy pants the norm now I think it’s kind of weird surely baggy pants can’t catch on that much and be the main pants everybody wears it’s kind of weird it’s like in the 50s when people wore really baggy suits I’m sure there were other periods were baggy pants were sort of in style like baggy trousers pants basically it seems like it’s sort of eastern too I feel like it could almost be an an attempt to make us more like the east or something and push homogeneity on everyone since the east has always worn robes and shit it’s supposed to be like the equivalent of robes almost or some shit
But anyway I was thinking about it some
more and I think baggy pants being pushed as the normal regular type of jeans style now is basically just the advertising and fashion industry trying to bring back baggy jeans so they can sell more products since they’ll make more money changing style and fashion trends all the time but then meanwhile the thing that irks me the most was anything to do with baggy jeans actually real and authentic at all or was it just due to a marketing trend? That’s the thing, Gen Z likes really baggy jeans but they didn’t really organically bring them into style themselves, they just all in mass liked a clothing style that was mass marketed to them and they act and think they’re so rebellious in doing that or something
There was more organic and authentic fashion trends in the past, like grunge was a real style that was started at first and turned into marketing later on
