place half a cup of rice on a pot, then some cooking oil, salt, and a small slice of butter, turn on the fire and stir the rice until its all shinny and oily, after 2 or 3 minutes add a cup of water and the brocoli cut into pieces, keep stiring until the water starts boiling, once it does, cover the pot with a lid, and turn off the fire, leave it be for like 10 minutes and you got yourself some rice with steamed brocolli.
As for the salad, put celery and cucumber, they are the only things salad worthy i see...
