One topic that I've been thinking about recently is the Hypergamy question. Typically it's a topic that's been done to death, but I think in light of recent developments on the "sexual marketplace" that it bears talking about again. Plus I haven't posted on /pol/ for maybe 2-3 years and it's basically the only place I trust to have a somewhat intelligent discussion on any given topic.

So first of all, we've all seen pic related before. I think at the time that someone created it, it was largely inaccurate. By the early 2020s I would say the average 5 woman expected/wanted/hoped to score a 6 man. It wasn't a requirement, but of course we all fantasize about getting it on with someone beautiful, and beautiful is of course both subjective and objective.

Fast forward to 2025, and I swear women's expectations have skyrocketed, and in my mind the explanation is very simple:

>The vast masses of normies have discovered Tinder and Hinge
>Good looking + rich men have realized that they can slide into DM's, or better yet, just let dating apps passively generate "leads" of women
>Women have realized that they can all easily score a good looking + rich guy through dating apps
The logical conclusion is that.. why would any woman ever want anything but a good looking and rich man? Why would any woman settle for a 6 if they can get a 7, or for that matter a 7 if they can get an 8? Why would a woman ever want a guy who can't afford a fancy dinner, when they can get a guy who can afford a fancy dinner?

I for example would prefer slim goth girls with big titties, and not ugly acne-ridden fat girls.

So if it previously used to be "60/40" it certainly is now "90/10" - at least.
