Sites are expected to either have an ID checking system or block the uk, this means that only a few big porn sites and shit like social media sites actually went along with it. Pretty much everyone started using vpns but they aren't even neccasary if you just want to watch some porn, all you have to do is go past the first page of search results.
Id imagine with the lawsuit and trump saying offcom can't do shit that effects americans free speech it'll eventually fizzle out and the gov will eventually admit its a complete failure and was never about protecting children but about putting more people in prison for social media posts
