Yes its sorta expensive but i still have ptsd from trying to use a cheap spool. There is some PETG for 12 bucks on amazon but i dunno. This is my first time using that plastic too so i don't want my first time ruined like it was with PLA.

Well I can assure you that all the cheaper spools of the standard plastics are made with pellets from the same factory. I never really had any issues but maybe that's just because the bambulab made anything work, even the PLA that sat in my garage for years that my ender 3 clone couldn't even get the first layer to stick

yeah but the "r" in "rPETG" means recycled which also improves flow apparently. Plus its supporting a local business and stuff.
Not buying it in the end doe. If you add shipping its 30 euros wtf.
Spectrum sells a roll of blue and red filament for 30 bucks tho. Think I'll go with that one.

All the pellets are coming out of Chinese factories probably. I never really cared about color, always went with black, if it needs to look good it needs to be painted anyways but never did that.

Yeah but it still matters who rolls it onto the spool. Its sorta the reason for the bullshit markup. Adding tax and shipping these two would be 18 bucks per roll. Not a lot of difference to what it used to cost and this is the good stuff after all.

unpainted can look good too. Especially when its semi transparent and given to a untrained eye. People really like the pre y2k aesthetic i think.

yeah i followed him for a while pretty cool stuff. Maybe once i have a proper workshop where pellet printing would save a lot.
