Think about the reason we dumped Rageface and locked the horsefuckers behind the gates of a containment board; it's because their communities became insufferable, and Pepe has been insufferable for five years now but is only beginning to slow down and if it weren't for a concentrated effort to resist him, /bant/ would have become /r9k2/. The people posting him ARE largely bad, and those that use his image innocently deserve little sympathy for associating with a cancer image.
Especially early on in /bant/'s life we had to deal with /r9k/ attempting to commandeer the board and spam threads, but for a while afterward were able to keep the frogs under control, but now their presence on /bant/ is 24/7, more than almost anything else here, and it encourages a culture of whining, shitposting, and acting like a dick for attention.
