I mean, we were able to throw off rage comics and they had just as big a presence here at one point, why can't we escape him? I look at these threads and wonder if we could replace them with something better. Obiously, simon or blepe or something isn't the answer, but why has Apu managed to stick around better than native memes like the Yellow Press and Peanuts and Cola, or even the /bant/ guardian? Why can't we have something /bant/ original dominate the catalogue?
