I want to get comfy in bed and read vns on my laptop but the screen is trashed so I'm stuck with the desktop monitor

I guess you don't have a queen sized bed. I did the monitor on bed thing right before my spine surgery a few years ago. I even moved the bed away from the wall so the PC could be on a small table, just within arms reach. You will need some flat and sturdy surface for that monitor and a book for the mouse. It's quite comfy if you do it right.

So a towel that wrapped around some plywood in my case. A very quick last minute setup. PC gaming in bed is top tier.
