I'm getting my passport next week and strongly considering teaching in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Hong Kong or Taiwan. And the reason is the language teaching industry in Italy is ass. Employers will ghost you or use you as a third wheel, the wages are crap, bureaucracy is infernal. In SEA countries you get free accommodation, training sessions and a decent salary. I'm not the type to party around either so I'll possibly be able to save money while living fairly comfortably.
