yesterday was the day of the rake. leaves have been blown away, only stragglers remain clinging onto the trees. now that i live innawoods i don't need to bag or burn them. they just get swept into the treeline. much easier this way. clearing the walking trails is one of my favorite maintenance tasks of the year. effortless and the result is fantastic. a clear green trail with berms of still-colorful leaves on either side. and the aroma is a quintessential autumnal experience. decaying leaves are broken down to soil nutrients by bacteria, fungi, and tiny invertebrates, and they give off organic compounds and sugars in an air-cocktail. among the choicest of natural fragrances, in my opinion.

stick season is nearly here. still, the weather is unseasonably warm. was over 67 degrees this morning, 19 celsius. windows down on my way to work. probably one of the last times this year.

bitcoin is breaking into new aths and bito is back over $20.50. this was the pump i was waiting for to sell calls. i've been measuring the premiums against the forecasted dividend. others are calling for $1.44/sh but i think this is high, my model predicts $0.68. i mentioned previously that the fiscal year ended in September, and if you look at the fine-print, November's distribution "includes net income of the Fund's subsidiary from September 23, 2025, to September 30, 2025." and February "Includes year-to-date net income of the Fund's subsidiary from October 1, 2024, to January 23, 2025, and net investment income from the Fund from January 1, 2025 to January 23, 2025"

bitcoin only moved up 1.6% during Sept 23-30. and until next February the price of bitcoin affects the price of bito, but it should not impact the distributions. this nuance has, in past years, resulted in grossly mispriced options. given the bull season, i've setup a bull call spread. sold Nov 7 $20.50 calls and bought Nov 7 $22 calls (to cover a major breakout) for a net credit of 0.63/sh.

hope your trade goes well. i'm not a big fan of autumn or winter, lucky for me they are short and mild where i am at, still dislike them a lot, love the heat and the sunshine. i'm grumpy about the weather changing because i didn't go anywhere this year, even though my mom said i could go anywhere and she'd pay for it, i decided to stay home to trade and work out, made gains in both areas but it's gonna be 6 more months until things are nice enough to travel anywhere for me. when it really gets cold though i'm going to start doing hot yoga classes, don't need them, plenty flexible, but might get some pleasant sights and smells.

i have been wondering (not trying to start another debate) how far you'd be willing to compromise your worldview to attract her. i can see you have a set of beliefs you ardently defend, but to what end? and to what cost? if moving towards the center would win penny, would you? or are you so principled that you would see that compromise as an unforgivable betrayal of your ideals, and therefore not worth her affections?

i am feeling a little down, i sold most of my graphene today at a meager profit. not enough to be worth the agita. but it was time to move it all into bito, now im at 75% of my target position, and expect to get another couple % after tomorrows divvy reinvestment. i feel bad for abandoning the position and dumping on the holders, but the opportunity cost was no longer worth it, with btc pumping into the discovery mode. the trade is already proving itself. i may, and almost hope, to regret this choice, the believers should receive their just rewards. still holding onto some as a reminder that it's good to have a moonshot in play. will reevaluate when btc gets to 75+ RSI and the Nasdaq listing is confirmed for Q1.

i can tolerate a lot. i'm not going to move much, but i'm not as passionate as i used to be, haven't voted in a decade, even wanted trump (re: kennedy and tulsi) to win and i'm happy with the administration for the most part. she though is a nazi. or as close to it as you can get, still not sure if she takes offense to the label, but she hates jews, she hates nonwhites, she hates liberals, she is not shy about those things. and she's very partisan with few scruples, she just wants to win and she hates her "enemies," wants to see people suffer. some of it i chalk up to the times, some of it where she's from and how she was raised, some of it to this place, but it's her that needs to change, she's the one that's wrong. she knows it too, she's just not in a place where she can handle that right now, being wrong. which i also understand and i've been trying to help her with that.
i think i'll have another shot at her heart when she goes to japan, she's a different person when she's there, that's where she was when we connected, and at one point or another she'll want something familiar and kind, it happened last time she was there, that's kinda how we met, she was reaching out for love around the holidays and i was there.
costco didn't have yogurt again, i will have to go out once more. exited my tqqq trade for $19 profit.
