Does anyone here vape? Which one do you use?

I currently smoke an ungodly 3 to 4 packs per day and need to quit ASAP. I'd like to switch to a vaporizer, but there are so many out there I don't know where to begin.

I use a PAX-3. But its a vaporizer specifically for herbs, in my case weed, though you could fill it with tobacco leaves maybe? I dont think thats all that great though.

Weed vapours have like a hot plate rather that cotton wrapped in a coil.

For cigs, I've quit over a year now just using a basic EVOD Mega. Tank last a day, battery lasts a day and half.

Get a starter vape like the Kanger EVOD mega or something. Considering you smoke a shitload you'll want 18mg-24mg strength liquid. Probably even more like 36mg, then you can start cutting back.

You basically have a chamber which you fill sort of like a bowl, close it up and then blast the hot air through it. By the time it reaches your lips its slightly warm and almost tasteless, though you can very much smell it and it gets you high all the same.

Only issue is retail sale of nicotine liquid is banned. But we can import "3 month personal supply" at a time. Don't think it's ever been quantified but on a vape forum they say you can get 3 litres at a time which is almost year's worth.

I roll my own so they are dirt cheap. I roll a mountain of them at the start of the day, then basically leave one burning all day. I thought I was smoking less, but then I started counting the butts and yesterday there were 60. Was a wake up call it's time to quit.

what >>2342053 said, and also, keep in mind is vapor, not smoke. It's almost odorless, have great taste and gives you a different, better high. And also is vapor ofc, have no health downsides since it doesn't burn the weed, but heat it at high temperatures to release the qemicals of the herb in a way that's good for your lungs

Late to the party but I've been vaping to cut down (and quit) rollies and it's going bloody well. The tricky part is finding one that's a satisfying substitute for smoking - many I've tried aren't hot or thick enough and don't have enough resistance when you drag on them. I use an Endura T18 starter kit that works pretty well. Your best bet is to go into a shop and try a few out though.

I just got back from the shop, got Smoke brand with an external battery, grandpa's choice flavored fluid, 6 mg of nicotine so I can puff all day and not of.

One issue, my throat gets quit sore after awhile, and a little acid indigestion. Do you experience that? If so, how do you deal with it?
