How prevalent is homosexuality in Islamic countries, especially in the Arabian peninsula?

I feel it is one of those cases that, due to segregation of gender, is higher than people would suspect it would be. Of course, no one would admit it or be open about it. Any muslims (or those living in said countries) got any information on this?
