4chan has no obligation to provide a free speech zone for different political opinions.
And it doesn't. You can't actually maintain proper anonymity here using TOR or VPNs, and the mods can silence you for any reason they want without accountability. Even the screencap you've posted suggests that leftist views aren't welcome on the site, this is obviously not a right-wing political activist forum.
I don't disagree with /pol/ on a lot of topics. What I dislike it for is their spillage on every other board.
For an example, I can't go on a linux thread on /g/ without someone derailing the thread claiming that free software is communism. I can't read a windows thread without someone yelling about Indians and their shitty programming. I can't browse past the front page without there being a thread about women in tech.
There's truth to all of those topics, but politics is still counterproductive to every other board but /pol/. It reduces discussion on any other topic to incoherent shit-flinging.
The reason /pol/ won't get removed is because the board is comparable to legitimate intelligence agencies in potential. Angering the whole of /pol/ would not end well.
Do you get it?
Those who dislike /pol/ dislike their spillage, not their views on politics. They'd rather the other boards be apolitical. This isn't a right-left division, it's a political-apolitical division.
