Serious question here. Considering most names and surnames stem from an ancestors occupation or from the Bible or some shit, where do these goofy/pompous sounding British names come from? I can’t think of a real one off the top of my head so I’ll make one up.... Sir Rupert Donningham Cocklebottom!
