Ugh I’ve been reading about the history of Babylon and I read about the history of Thailand a bit.
For myself, it has mostly just seemed like major civilizations and empire have been a straight line from Egypt to Rome, but there were a few big empires in between there I guess, which makes me think, the west could fall possibly I guess.
I mean that’s the thing, the ruling classes for all intents and purposes don’t seem that interested in making sure their civilization remains healthy and prominent.
I’m sure it could be covered by Marxism almost, though I don’t think it ever was, part of the on going history of classism, is that the upper classes usually don’t care about securing the future for their kingdoms for as long as they can. This seems like a huge risk to them almost, because what would they do say, when Rome fell?
But anyway, it’s a lot different now because they’ve made it so they don’t have to be loyal to a specific country for sure, but they’ve managed to make the banking and financial system global and all powerful, so it almost doesn’t matter what country comes into prominence they’ll have to accept the banking system
