other countries in europe are far more relaxed about shit like what kind of weapons you can own but you usually need a loicence in those places too. I could probably get one if I moved country but having an interest in a hobby is not a good enough reason to move.
you can actually get muzzle loaders (including modern muzzle loading revolvers) without a licence here but you need some sort of hazardous materials one to buy the powder and percussion caps.
