if this happens you need antibiotics, don't hold off on getting them as another day or two can be enough for it to turn into sepsis.
iv had wounds get infected like a week later but that's usually not what happens with bite wounds they usually flare up very early on or not at all but still if at any point it starts swelling and feeling hot or having smelly discharge you should not risk it and get it checked out ASAP
