At least he refilled my 7 day prescription for hydrocodone. Hope that shit kicks in soon because the guy at the radiology center tried to rip my fucking arm off getting x-rays and now im in excruciating pain.

It’s workmen’s comp thankfully, probably already addicted at some level due to the amount of dilaudid the gave me in the ER after my surgeries. You mean tinnitus? Had a bit of that in the ER and it sucked. Hopefully they can get you something that helps. I heard dealing with the VA can be a nightmare so I wish you best of luck and send some positive energy your way.

here they just refuse to give you outpatient pain meds stronger than dihydrocodeine or tramadol.
sometimes you can wrangle oramorph if you are literally dying.

It’s NOT funny! Also he was a radiologist not a nurse, probably the reason he was so rough. Im also not very good at communicating when I’m in pain and why so it might also be my fault too partially.

I think its actually worse than prescribing strong painkillers to outpatients because a large number of people with pain issues here have to resort to heroin and since Afghanistan banned opium production all the smack here is full of nitazenes (RC opioids hundreds of times stronger than fentanyl, these are slowly replacing fent in the states btw)

i have the impression tramadol is a bad painkiller, nasty side effects etc, idk why though

the ICU at my local hospital is very competent, but the general ward is bad
they try to keep you there as long as possible, nurses be stealing shit (including loose pills from the patients belongings), unclean bedding, etc

they have been this strong since the 50s they just havent been produced in clandestine labs untill recently.
the shit with pushing the envelope of Piperidine and Benzidamol opioids died out in the early 60s because after they made fent/fentalogues and Nitazenes there was no real reason to keep going, these chemicals are already impractically strong and insanely dangerous.
most of these chemicals were made by Paul Jannsen if u wanna learn more. pls don't take them though, they are very dangerous and are totally shite compared to morphine, the only worthwhile synthetic opioid is Dipipanone, potency =/= better.
all the best and most euphoric opioids are pretty weak.

that was my impression, interesting

there's alot of druggies in my family
i've messed with weaker stimulants and some psychedelics but i don't think i'd ever mess with anxiolytics, opioids, etc, atleast not at this point
i think i'd be particularly prone to addiction to those, and possibly stop caring about anything
rather just go after those feelings in more conventional ways

i have a copy of the 9 hour deposition of richard sackler for his role in the opioid crisis in the US, i think it's still available on wikipedia lol
sometimes i listen to it in the background

iv been using both opioids and benzos since childhood and its rarely done anything to improve my life xD
im mostly clean for the last few years and plan to stay that way.
if you ever do end up using downers please remember that theres no point taking anything stronger than heroin for opioids and nothing stronger than alprazolam/clonazepam for benzos.

Not sure about the theft, but true for the unclean bedding, unclean everything really. After my rib surgery they had me stuck with a chest tube which they removed after a few days but left it sitting in my room next to the trash can filled with my chest cavity fluid for several more days, each nurse I asked saying “Oh yeah I’ll get someone to remove that.” Eventually we got lucky and someone actually did remove it.
Anyway, I was only in the general word for about six days I think, so if I said to say I have plenty of horror stories to tell about the place. Best/worst Halloween haunted house experience.

my aunt is in her fifties, she's been off meth for a few years now & she was training to become a phlebotomist last we heard from her
prior to that she disappeared for a few months, then showed up in another state after trying to rob a bank
jail turned out to be the thing that helped her recover, ironically
