Very curious how there is still homeless people in first world countries. I can understand the issues with trying to house unhinged schizophrenics and drug addicted lunatics but otherwise..its just kinda weird. Surely resources can be allocated to put roofs over the heads of the most vulnerable people in society?

No its fucking not. Its a teardown. Your best bet is to get an excavator and rip it down then keep going on the foundation so the ground floor is at the level of the sidewalk which is what the issue for this house is in the first place. Any attempt to shit shine that house is doomed to failure because the foundation is shifting. Even if you DID have the motivation to do a full teardown its useless because you have subhumans for neighbors.

The hill is shifting from left to right and also collapsing towards the street, hence the fucked up staircase. This requires massive amounts of work and you may as well just tear the house down since OBVIOUSLY if basic bitch shit like stairs are fucked the entire foundation is cracked and probably leaking water into the basement. Its a full write-off, the amount of labor to repair this shit isn't worth it, just get an excavator and demo the whole fucking row of houses, clear the hill out and build new houses with the garage on the first floor or some shit as the foundation.

Just look at it from a rational perspective, you spend tens of thousands of dollars fixing everything that ails this shitbox house and you're still left with a house perched on a hill with grass that is slanted so heavily that its unusable, the staircase and hill are so steep that its equally useless and impossible to retrieve people who are elderly (you DO intend to live in your house into old age right?) Having the house removed, excavating the hill out and putting a garage there both resolves a parking issue, functionality issue and makes the land worth more since you have a flat and level surface as a front yard, more internal space in the house and a better structure since it was placed upon a level surface.
