I'm starting to think most of my students on Native Camp are Japanese older ladies because they think my Italian accent is sexy or they find me attractive because of cultural biases. Like 80% of the people who call me are married women or girls in their 30s. And then there's the occasional illiterate medoid from Portugal whom I have to teach elementary English. It's such a fucking humiliation ritual and it makes me feel ashamed of being in Southern Europe.
