I know that it's to early for a 19 yr to start dating someone seriously, but I'm also not willing to hook up with every cute girl I see on the street. The problem is not me following the "hook up culture", the problem is that my dad wants me to just get the number of every girl out there. The thing is that I already "hooked up" with two girls (and by that I mean I tried to date but they didn't wanted, but before that we managed to hook up for three days) and I already know what kind of life I don't want.

Long story short, I'm know dating this girl, and I'm thinking of actually asking her to be my girlfriend, but based on my father's reaction to the whole thing he seems disapointed that I hadn't had sex with any of the girls I met, and when I meet this one girl I immediately want to date her to marry. I mean I can see his point, but I can also see that she's an absolute gem, and that if I fumble her by hooking up with someone else I know that I'll never find someone like her. I just don't know if it's worth it to listen to my dad.
