You get at a point in which female beauty isn't such a big deal to you. In both ways: That you can have more power over beautiful girls and that you stop devaluing not so beautiful girls (I'm not talking about right down ugly) if they have a nice enough personality.
I think this happens in your late 20s when the girls your own age are nowhere as beautiful or enticing as they used to be and you have already seen the degration in beauty of girls your age you previously would have considered yourself lucky to partner with.
You realise beauty is not eternal and therefore is not all that it was cracked up to be a few years before.
This is also when men start to date younger girls.
Think about it: You're a 30 something fag ... you become unironically happy to be with a 20 something girl you didn't consider all that great if you were 20 something.
Because she is now much superior to the 30 something old hags who you considered oh so beautiful when they were 20 somethings.
