I mean theres no answer for hard solipsism, but theres an infinite number of possible solipsistic universes;

Even that being the case, this universe still clearly has rules, and since we have no access to other universes, the rules of this universe are the only rules that seem to matter.
Therefore, consider this;
even if the laws of reality were to change utterly, and you found yourself in a different universe, either causality is meaningless, in which case nothing you do has any effect on the outcome (causality), or
the scientific method is STILL the best way of making a model of this NEW reality that can make reliable, effective predictions, measurable in their accuracy and adjustable as a result of testing.
Observation, hypothesis, test, observation, prediction, in that order :)
Its not really that threatening, ultimately.
